Running a bit empty. This last week was a bit crazy... baby-shoots, pregnancy and family shoots, plus two weddings on the weekend! I laid on the couch most of the day Sunday... it was wonderful. Just finished putting together a DVD Montage of little Athanasios. I must say, he is one of my favourites! We've photographed him three times now. He is always smiling and I just love his little hair. I love watching George and Sophie with him... George owns the fabulous "NEXT dOOR" clothing store at 433 Queen St. West. Check it out. Very cool clothes...
What a fantastic day. I loved being there every moment. Truly a match made by heaven.
PS. The cake was by Allyson of Allyson Meredith Cakes. She is totally awesome all you brides out there!! Those flowers on the cake are not real!
Well, back from a wonderful week off in Tobermory. (Kind-a been slacking on the Blog, I know) However, I'm refreshed and ready for two more crazy months. Just before I went away, we did a beautiful wedding on Lake Joe in Muskoka. Although it rained, the day was elegant and beautiful. A surprise performer was hired for the evening - hoping that I can share that with you...!!! Here ar some pics from a family shoot I did the next day of the bride's sister. I want that cottage!
Amazing Vendors and friends!
Karen Judd is the founder and owner of the well known 'Moms to Be... and More' store located at 1644/42 Bayview Ave., just south of Eglinton. Truly THE best baby store around. Their furniture department located on the second floor showcases the best and trendiest products... I am always enamored by the new toys, funky clothing, and ideas that Karen and her team incorporates. She's always on the go - staying on the cutting edge. (Feel like having a baby every time I go in there!) What is most striking about the store when you visit is the amazing staff. The customer service that you will receive is second to none. I LOVE them. So glad I strolled in there one afternoon and met Sharon (her partner in crime) Check out the slideshow below produced by Tony Hall of See My Clients. I'll wait for another Entry to talk about the amazing work he does. Stay tuned. Happy Monday everyone!
Interesting Evening...
Sooo, I was hired to cover a surprise birthday at the Four Seasons downtown - which included an additional surprise 'Roast' at the end with Russell Peters. Initially Dave (my assistant) and I kept an eye out for a roast pig or animal of some sort... Little did we know that it referred to what was going to take place to the birthday boy! Laughter it was the whole night long. No roast dinner with potatoes, but Russell Peters is one funny dude. Definitely an entertaining event to document!
Beautiful Inside and Out!
Okay so it's clear that I'm highlighting more pictures of the girl than the guy... So unfair, I know. But it's not because I didn't get great shots of Stan. I wanted to highlight Helen not only because I thought she looked beautiful that day, but also because she is beautiful inside too. Earlier this year my 25 year old cousin Jon-dax Charlton died. I didn't know that Helen knew him. During that time her support through thoughtful emails and her presence at the funeral meant a lot. I don't know if you are aware of that Helen... Thank-you. Can't wait to capture more beautiful memories of you both. xoxo Nikki
